Clay Stephens | artist bio

For Clay, art is a journey that began when he was old enough to hold a crayon. He has studied many aspects of artistic interpretation and loves exploring new ideas and techniques with paint and textures!

Clay has studied and worked in many artistic mediums but for the last several years has concentrated on intuitive abstract works created with acrylic paints, and sometimes mixed media, on canvas.

He started drawing while in the Cub Scouts and studied art through grammar and high school.

Clay continues to study and learn and has taken may workshops with well-known and highly experienced artists throughout the States and abroad.

Clays works have been included in numerous exhibits and juried shows over the years and his paintings are represented in many private collections throughout the United States.
